Wade Eckman is the President and CEO of CPS Payment Services. He is responsible for the overall direction and performance of CPS Payment Services. Mr. Eckman has nearly 20 years of Finance experience comprised of leadership roles in industry and within the Big 4 Consulting Industry. Prior to CPS, Mr. Eckman was a Partner in KPMG LLP’s Advisory Services practice. At KPMG, Mr. Eckman helped lead the Southeast Financial Management Practice. For Fortune 500 CFO’s, Mr. Eckman focuses on delivering strategic and tactical consulting engagements such as Finance Process Transformation, Cost Optimization, Merger Integration, Organizational Re-Design and Shared Services Strategy and Implementation. Prior to his extensive consulting career, Mr. Eckman was the CFO of a renewable energy re-marketer.

Mr. Eckman holds a BS from Louisiana State University and a MBA from The College of William and Mary.

Ken Barrett

Ken Barrett

Executive Vice President, Operations

Ken Barrett is the Executive Vice President of Operations. Mr. Barrett is responsible for the day to day activities of the Operations Group. Mr. Barrett has more than 15 years of leadership in Professional Services and Operations with Fortune 500 organizations.

In his professional services roles, Mr. Barrett led teams that advised clients on creating process efficiencies for the purposes of cost take-out and organizational restructuring. Mr. Barrett served a variety of industries and a multitude of functions, specifically finance & accounting, supply chain, and servicing. Experiences include: process redesign & implementation, system design, project management, organizational restructuring (international and domestic), and implementing business performance monitoring. Prior to his professional services career, Mr. Barrett served as Operations Director for a Fortune 500 retailer where he and his teams led the organization and execution of many functional processes including, but not limited to, Customer Service, Supply Chain & Analysis, Transaction Compliance, and Fraud Control.

Mr. Barrett holds a BA degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, a Master of Science (MS) degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Richard Otruba

Richard Otruba is the Executive Vice President of Technology. Mr. Otruba is responsible for the development, enhancements, and maintenance of the CPS technologies that enable the CPS disbursement services. Mr. Otruba has 20 years of experience in IT management and software consulting.  For over 5 years, he has owned and operated a private software consulting partnership, 2Labs, LLC.  During this time, Mr. Otruba has had a lead role in managing, developing, and deploying software solution for clients spanning various industries including, but not limited to, Retail, Telemedicine, Healthcare, and Financial Services. 

Mr. Otruba has extensive experience in full lifecycle software development and excels in integrating all aspects of business into the software development process.  He has expertise in architecting .Net and Java based software for both web and client-server based solutions.  He has served as database administrator for solutions integrating either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.  Mr. Otruba is an outspoken advocate for the use of Agile software development processes and test-driven development practices. 

Prior to 2Labs, Mr. Otruba was Director of Software Development for a Chicago-based software consulting company. In addition to contributing to the management and delivery of software solutions for Fortune 500 companies, he was responsible for internal management and staffing of IT resources.  Prior to this role, Mr. Otruba was the Director of Engineering Services for a software product and services company where he gained direct experience with the design, development, deployment, and support of a product-based solution.  He has both a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.

Scott Saltmarsh

Scott Saltmarsh

Scott Saltmarsh is the Vice President of Business Development. He is responsible for the Sales and Marketing departments at CPS. He and his team work with potential and existing clients to develop the optimal solution and services for each client. Mr. Saltmarsh also manages our alliance business partner relationships in the market place.

Mr. Saltmarsh brings over 25 years of experience to the role in sales and sales leadership for some of the biggest names in technology.

Mr. Saltmarsh held both direct and indirect sales leadership roles at Oracle Corporation and took that background to Mercury Interactive where he helped to create the “Partner Sales Program” which contributed over 60% of revenue.  Most recently he was in charge of Business Development for KPMG in the Southeast’s retail and energy verticals.  Throughout his career he’s focused on Fortune 500 companies including; The Coca-Cola Company, BellSouth, Southern Company, Chick-fil-A and Georgia-Pacific.

Mr. Saltmarsh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.

Jeff Wiesinger

Jeff Wiesinger

Jeff Wiesinger is the Executive Vice President of Finance. Mr. Wiesinger is responsible for the CPS Finance Department and the CPS client implementation team. Mr. Wiesinger and his team work with the clients to define requirements, implement the CPS E-Payment technology, and train the functional users of our clients.

Mr. Wiesinger has more than 20 years of experience in consulting on a broad range of functional and technical information systems projects, with special emphasis on implementing and supporting accounting systems and financial software.

Eleven years ago Mr. Wiesinger founded Financial Systems Specialists, Inc., a specialty software consulting company in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Wiesinger created and implemented software solutions that incorporated industry best-practices. Mr. Wiesinger used a deep understanding of the accounts payable process, EDI and corporate treasury to work train end-users on the use of new software technology.

Mr. Wiesinger has experience in a wide spectrum of industries including financial services, telecommunications, retail, non-profit and state government. In 2009, Mr. Wiesinger developed an Oracle ERP solution to mirror the MasterCard payment process that create payments, send and receive files and reconcile outstanding transactions.

Prior to founding Financial Systems Specialists, Inc., Mr. Wiesinger was a Manager at KPMG, LLP and KPMG Consulting, LLC. While at KPMG, he deployed new technologies to the audit process, and earned a Certified Public Accountant designation. Mr. Wiesinger holds a Bachelors of Science degree with majors in Business Administration and Accounting from Grace College, Winona Lake, Indiana.
